Marco Schwarz has won the Alpine Ski Men’s World Cup giant slalom in Palisades Tahoe. The Carinthian beat four colleagues in front of him with the best time in the final on Saturday. Second was the Swiss Marco Odermatt, three hundredths of a second behind, third was the Norwegian Rasmus Windingstad (+0.36). Schwarz achieved the first Austrian giant slalom victory in the World Cup since that of Marcel Hirscher on January 12, 2019 in Adelboden.
