Slalom: Steen Olsen wins in Palisades Tahoe after Ginnis threader – winter sports

On the green table, the first Greek victory in the Alpine Ski World Cup vanished into thin air. 21-year-old Norwegian Alexander Steen Olsen celebrated his first World Cup victory in the Palisades Tahoe slalom on Sunday following runner-up AJ Ginnis was disqualified for a threader. Heavy snowfall delayed the decision by several minutes. Second was another Norwegian, Timon Haugan, third aequo Clement Noel and Albert Popow.
