ECJ confirms right to daily rest before or after days off – right

Luxembourg – Workers in the European Union are also entitled to a daily rest period of at least eleven consecutive hours before or following a day off. The European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled on Thursday in Luxembourg that daily and weekly rest periods are two autonomous rights. It concerned a case from Hungary (C-477/21).
