She wanders alone in the nocturnal forest, she howls with the wolves. And she dances the sinister conflict between man and nature. The Italian choreographer and dancer Annamaria Ajmone imitates neither the real forest nor the well-known sound of howling in her solo. Rather, she demonstrates an alienation effect that arises when the reality of nature is transferred into cultural fantasies.
