In order to support Burkinabe cinema and make it more competitive during FESPACO 2019, the President of Faso, Roch Kaboré, granted a grant of one billion CFA francs to the association of Burkinabe filmmakers. The projects selected are: 2 fiction feature films, 2 television series, 1 documentary, 2 fiction short films and 2 films in post-production. (DR)
