Indore:Veteran sports writer and Senior Deputy Editor (Sports) of The Hindu newspaper S. Dinakar (57) died following collapsing in his hotel room in Indore. He had covered the India-Australia third Test yesterday for Sports Star and The Hindu and was preparing to go to Ahmedabad for the fourth Test.
Dinakar, who had a special interest in cricket reporting, has also reported on sports such as football, tennis and hockey. He was very interested in classical music, cinema and modern art forms.
