A rant as a farewell to the world – stage

As far as climate change is concerned, many have the attitude: It will be fine. Nothing ends well with playwright Thomas Köck. The Great Extinction is in full swing, has happened, will continue to happen, and will continue to happen. Köck’s bitterly sad text with the unwieldy title And all the animals shout: This title won’t save the world anymore either (monkey gone to heaven) saw its Austrian premiere on Thursday. The Upper Austrian dramatist calls his work a “Requiemmanifesto of extinction”.
