The match, which was held for the 20th stage of the Saudi League, ended with the victory of Ittihad Jeddah over Ronaldo’s companions with a goal without a response.
After the match, Al-Afasy posted on his Twitter account a video showing Ronaldo, who was very angry at the loss, as he kicked a water bottle that was on the field.
Al-Afasy did not attach any comments to the video, which aroused the curiosity of his followers to speculate about the reason for its publication.
Some observers said that Al-Afasy wanted, through the video, to express his disapproval of Ronaldo’s behavior, while others said that it was a sign of the Kuwaiti sheikh’s encouragement to Al-Ittihad Club in Jeddah.
The Kuwaiti reader also sparked a great interaction in the World Cup in Qatar, after a tweet he published about the Argentine player, Lionel Messi, after the Saudi national team was eliminated from the tournament.
Al-Afasy said at the time, in a tweet he posted on his official Twitter page: “Now that the Falcons have left… all the best wishes for this legend… who we won against… that he holds the World Cup… he deserves it.”
