Amsterdam – The major exhibition of works by Dutch master Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675) at Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum is finally sold out. This was announced by the museum. Twenty-eight of the approximately thirty-seven existing paintings by the painter from Delft can still be seen until June 4th. Never before have so many Vermeer paintings been exhibited at the same time. Shortly following the opening on February 10th, all 450,000 available tickets were sold.
