On March 16 and 17, the Regional Department of Education-Burgas and Secondary School “Bishop Konstantin Preslavski” will host the National Student Philosophical Conference “Man. Holy”. It is part of the National Calendar for extracurricular activities of the Ministry of Education and Science.
In the current edition of the conference, 103 students from 42 Bulgarian schools from 16 different administrative regions will participate. This year, the students, divided into three age groups – from IV to XII grades, will reflect on quotes by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Confucius, Sigmund Freud and Pavel Vezhinov. The youngest participants in the national event will have the task of completing a fairy tale, emphasizing moral qualities and spiritual values. The National Student Philosophical Conference aims at young people in Bulgaria to exchange thoughts on various human and life problems, to try to develop their thinking, to know themselves, as well as to build an active civic position.
