The police said that they received a report from a citizen late at night, saying that there was a flash of light on the side of Fei Ngo Mountain in Wong Tai Sin, and the electricity in the house was abnormal. Citizens in many districts in the New Territories and Kowloon said that the indoor lights had “flickered”. Firefighters also received more than 35 incidents of people trapped in lifts late at night.
