O Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 it is a real powerhouse in terms of processing. Qualcomm had already promised above-average performance even before its launch, but this has now been proven in a test carried out by Android Authority. According to the tests, its main core with 2.91 Hz max speed can be better than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 by approximately 45%.
Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 outperforms 8 Gen 1 in first tests
With an 8-core processor, including a maximum performance Cortex-X2 working at up to 2,91 GHz3 high-performance Cortex-A710 working at up to 2,49 GHz and 4 Cortex-A510 operating at 1,8 GHzthis new chip is capable of surpassing even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in some respects.
Tests carried out by Android Authority showed that the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 has a CPU better than the 8 Gen 1 in some respects, with a score of 1211 points in single core e 4024 cores in multi-core on Geekbench 5. We compare the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, launched last year and which is already present in several devices, such as the POCO F4 GT, Motorola Edge 30 Pro e Samsung Galaxy S22.
