40 meters underground: Gravel as a treasure trove for Steyr’s drinking water

It goes into the abyss with seeing eyes. The drinking water fountain in the Dietacher Holz, also known as the water forest, goes down a good 40 meters. The first step up the shaky ladder takes a lot of effort – climbing harness and safety rope or not. The descent only takes a few minutes, feels like an eternity. At the end of the scramble, a cramp in the hand and a treasure in the gravel await.
