The International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Tuesday recommended the re-admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes as neutral athletes to international competitions. A decision on permission to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will only be made at a later date, emphasized IOC President Thomas Bach following a meeting of the Executive Committee in Lausanne. When that will happen is not the only open question.
