A woman died this Thursday when she fell from the balcony of an apartment on the sixth floor of a building in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires belonging to a businessman, who was arrested, police sources reported today.
The event occurred in the morning in a building located at 1500 Libertad Street, from where the City Police received a call from a neighbor who reported that on the sixth floor there was “an altered woman” and that a few later that woman had fallen into the void
Personnel from the 1A Neighborhood Police Station, with jurisdiction in the area under the directives of the prosecutor Santiago Vismara, and the City Firefighters, arrived at the scene, who found the victim completely naked, in an internal courtyard of the block lung.
Immediately, a Same ambulance was summoned that took the woman to the Fernández Hospital, but she died on the way to the care center.
The director of the Same, Alberto Crescenti, assured in communication with TN that the call was “by a person who fell from the sixth floor” and that the woman “was already dead inside the courtyard of a building.”
According to Crescenti, the doctor who arrived at the building had to “go through a window” to make contact with the victim and that the patient “had injuries incompatible with life.”
Sources of the investigation assured that the owner of the apartment from which the victim fell was in the place, so although he was first transferred to the police station as a complainant, the Justice later ordered the formal arrest.
This is a businessman, last name Sáenz Valiente, 52, who was accused of the crime of “homicide” and in the next few hours will be investigated by Judge Martín Carlos Del Viso, who is currently subrogating the National Criminal Court and Correctional 31.
Meanwhile, in the shield of the building was a 31-year-old woman of Brazilian nationality, who apparently was also in the apartment on the sixth floor at the time of the event, for which she was delayed, although hours later she was released.
“The businessman said that he was with two girls and that one got upset and shot herself,” said a police source. However, following analyzing the scene, the judge ordered the arrest of the businessman.
