Ryan Roberts, a ceramics teacher at Iolani Private Middle School in Honolulu, Hawaii, came to the rescue of a 100-year-old woman while driving home from work with his two sons. He noticed an elderly woman in distress sitting in a car parked on the highway. Roberts immediately pulled over and rushed to help her, as she was choking on a cough pill. The teacher successfully saved her by removing her from the car and performing the Heimlich maneuver.
