TCMA joins forces with OPDC to develop personnel potential Mining, responding to BCG’s needs

TCMA supports the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPD) to enhance personnel potential. Supporting master’s degree scholarships abroad for the third consecutive year aiming to raise skills and knowledge in “Mining-Technology-Society” to be developed for the benefit of the industrial sector. in order to benefit the country’s economic sector according to the BCG guidelines.

Working in today’s world is full of challenges. Upgrading the skills and knowledge of operators is important and necessary. It is therefore the origin of cooperation between the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DOD) and the Thai Cement Industry Association (TCMA) under the Memorandum of Understanding on Human Resource Development Cooperation in Education of the DOD that was jointly signed. In the year 2019, the goal was to upgrade the capacity, skills and competencies of the DDP personnel to perform government service more efficiently and effectively. in line with national development guidelines under Thailand 4.0 policy

Dr. Chana Poomee, President of the Thai Cement Industry Association (TCMA) Said that TCMA is ready to support government work in various fields. Developing skills and enhancing the knowledge of civil servants through this scholarship. It is one of TCMA’s intentions to look forward to the development of the industry.

The mine uses resource efficiently according to government policies, creating an ecosystem for managing waste materials.
