The man was loading the car’s trailer when the vehicle drove off and hit him for reasons that are still unclear, the Austrian state police informed the news of the auto sector.
The 73-year-old man was transported by helicopter to the hospital in Oberwart, but died of his injuries on the way.
This was not the first such case in recent days: a person was crushed by a garbage truck in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, on Friday morning. The 50-year-old man had no chance of survival.
