About 18,000 young people took the last entrance exam for the National University of San Agustín de Arequipa (UNSA) this Sunday for the year 2023.
Due to the large number of applicants, the Admission Commission decided to take the evaluation in two shifts: morning and followingnoon. In the first, the evaluation of the Biomedical and Engineering careers was taken. Of the 9,987 registered, 137 did not attend.
In the followingnoon, the Social Applicants submitted the evaluation. Of the registered applicants, 79 young people were absent.
During the entrance to the University campus, some young people presented respiratory and stomach problems. They were cared for by UNSA doctors and nurses, managing to take their exam without any major inconvenience.
For this last exam, UNSA allocated 1,363 vacancies for its different professional careers. The Arequipa Superior House of Studies is the largest in the south of the country. Being a public entity, it attracts applicants from various regions, as well as provinces of Arequipa. It is considered among the 10 best universities in the country.
