The World Health Organization has declared that the Corona epidemic is no longer a global health emergency.
In this context, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, pointed out, “I declare with great hope the end of Covid-19, as a global health emergency … but this does not mean that it has ended as a threat to global health.”
The organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020, leading to worldwide lockdowns and travel restrictions. And there have been more than 6 million COVID-related deaths worldwide since then.
