For the first time, a Dutchman has been put on the US sanctions list for Russia, reports Follow the Money. It concerns Edwin Onno van Ingen. According to Washington, through his company Ronin Management BV, he cooperates with Russian laboratories aimed at developing nuclear weapons.
According to the statement from the US Treasury Department, Van Ingen is often instructed by Russian security services to procure scientific technologies and equipment. He then sells it on to the Russians. In this way, Van Ingen helps to mask that Russia is the real buyer for the manufacturers.
Because Van Ingen and Ronin are on the list, the Americans have also put two other Van Ingen companies on the sanctions list. These are Pro Rata Solutions BV and Delta Technical and Scientific Instruments BV
Opposite Follow the Money Van Ingen denies the accusation: “‘I have always worked on a permit basis, and exported my devices with permission.
