Two unsecured children in the back seat of a car drew the attention of the police in Salzburg-liefering. And then more emerged.

Because during the subsequent check of the car, the officers found that two children aged 4 and 8 years were not being transported with a suitable restraint device – so there were no child seats.

But the man at the wheel showed symptoms of impairment. A drug test was promptly positive (cannabis). The 38-year-old Hungarian said he smoked a joint two hours earlier.

He refuses to be brought to the medical officer. Furthermore, the time limit in the driver’s license presented had expired and the Hungarian was therefore not in possession of a valid driver’s license. His (expired) driver’s license was provisionally confiscated and he was forbidden to continue driving.

  • In the course of another traffic control on the Munich federal road, another drug driver was pulled out of the traffic. The 29-year-old German showed symptoms of impairment during the check. A drug test was positive (cannabis). During the course of the medical examination, it was determined that he was unfit to drive. His driver’s license was temporarily taken away and he was forbidden to continue driving.
