Tonight was the full release of Diablo IV. As it turns out, the game became fastest selling project Blizzard. Pre-release sales were the highest among the company’s franchises on both PC and consoles.
In the four days since Early Access launched on June 2, Diablo IV has been played for 93 million hours, or over 10,000 years. Rod Ferguson, the game’s producer, stated that the development team had been preparing for this big moment for years. He called the project a revival of the franchise.
