In the Russian-occupied Nowa Kachkowa there was a zoo – whose inhabitants were now victims of the flood. “All the animals, apart from the swans and ducks, have died,” tweeted Interior Ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko. The authorities did nothing to save the animals, he writes, citing local residents.
