Approximately 600 people are expected in three days of event
Samsung Ocean, Samsung’s technological training program, promotes the first edition of “Innovation Week 2023” in Manaus. The event on innovation, technology and product development takes place in person between June 13th and 15th at the Samsung Ocean Campus in Manaus, located at the State University of Amazonas (UEA). To contribute to the program, guests from local and national innovation ecosystems, as well as specialists and professors from Samsung Ocean, participate in the event.
“Innovation Week 2023 is open to students, entrepreneurs, technology and innovation professionals, researchers and people interested in innovation and technology in general. The event’s program includes unmissable activities, including lectures on startups and a Pitch workshop”, says Eduardo Conejo, Senior Innovation Manager in the Research and Development area at Samsung. “It is an event that serves the most diverse audiences within the technology and innovation industry”.
Inside Ocean Innovation Week
The first Ocean Innovation Week lecture addresses “What are the life cycles of a startup until growth?”. The program continues with the presentation of the results of the Samsung Ocean actions, a networking break and a period dedicated only to questions and answers, to solve possible doubts of the participants regarding the topics covered during the event.
On the second day of the event, subscribers participate in a lecture on “Digital Manufacturing Projects for Startup Innovation”. In addition, participants will be able to learn more regarding Ocean Beginner with the startup Atelo, addressing the culture of innovation at the beginning of the company’s journey in the market. The program continues with a Talk Show and a round table on “Competences and Skills of the Innovator of the Future”.
On the last day of the event, there will be a lecture “Betting on the future: Methodologies for identifying innovative businesses”, a pitch workshop and a cocktail party, followed by a talk show on how to overcome challenges in the development of innovative products and services. This will be an opportunity to get to know one of the successful cases of Samsung Ocean, the company Chemical. The program continues with the lecture “Bootstrapping x Venture Capital and/or Investor Perception of startups”.
