Berlin – Parts of Germany have been hit by severe storms. However, no major damage was reported on Friday night. The fire brigade in the city of Braunschweig in Lower Saxony alone counted hundreds of operations. Videos showed streets flooded and shops flooded. Trams and cars were stuck. There were similar recordings from the Hessian city of Kassel. However, most regions of Germany got off lightly.
