On Thursday, the ORF Foundation Council unanimously approved the positive annual financial statements of the public media company for 2022. In a year’s time, the accounts for 2023 should be negative. An ORF forecast currently assumes losses of EUR 17 million for 2023. ORF boss Roland Weißmann described this as “not good”, but was optimistic that the amount might still be reduced.
