As a police spokesman told all-in,de, the motorcyclist fell alone at around 4 p.m. on the Riedberg Pass near Obermaiselstein. So there was no third-party fault, but a driving error or something similar. The exact cause is not yet known.
Motorcyclist falls and injures himself on the Riedberg Pass – the road was closed
The 20-year-old motorcyclist was driving along the Riedberg Pass in the direction of Obermaiselstein when he left the road in a sharp bend, crashed into the guardrail and fell over it. He then came to rest in a ravine. The 20-year-old was seriously injured in the accident. He fractured his lower leg. A rescue helicopter took the biker to a hospital.
During the recording of the accident, the pass road was completely closed for regarding an hour. The police in Oberstdorf began investigating the cause of the accident.
