National Council facilitates establishment of primary care units – Parliament

Vienna – The National Council has its summer retreat on Thursday continued. The first point was innovations in primary care, which were accepted with votes from the ÖVP, Greens, SPÖ and NEOS. The establishment of corresponding units in the healthcare system will be made easier and less bureaucratic, and the medical associations will be deprived of their veto power. In the second attempt, the new parent-child pass with an expansion of services was also decided.
