Without wasting a second given the short time allotted at the start of the evening, Chouinard, bassist Sarah Dion and drummer Lisandre Champagne lined up ten tracks from their two albums with dexterity, ardor and a spirit of camaraderie that was pleasant to observe.

Intimidating the Plains? Certainly not for the new standard-bearers of Quebec punk-rock.
“I come from Quebec (Editor’s note: from Cap-Rouge, more precisely). I came to see the Summer Festival all my youth and to play on this stage, it’s sick in tabarnac, ”launched Raphaëlle Chouinard, barely catching her breath between two songs.
The opening night of the 55th Summer Festival continues with Billy Talent and Weezer.
