The World Para-Athletics Championships are going wonderfully for the Swiss delegation, with two gold medals once more. This time they were won by Catherine Debrunner and Manuela Schär in the 800m.
After winning gold the day before in the wheelchair 5000m, Catherine Debrunner from Thurgau had another victory, this time in the 800m in the T53 category.
For her part, Manuela Schär won over the same distance, but in the T54 category. It is also the second medal in two days for the Lucernoise following the silver won on Monday in the 5000m.
