Société des Boissons du Maroc has announced the final completion of the sale of its entire stake in Euro Africaine des Eaux (EAE) to Distra (Mutandis group). This operation was carried out at a price of 380 million DH on July 10. Thus, specifies SBM, from this date, the company Euro Africaine des Eaux (EAE) will no longer be part of the scope of consolidation of SBM.
EAE owns the Ain Ifrane brand. Since 2013, the brand has been recognized as natural mineral water. It should be noted that this activity recorded, in 2022, a turnover of 240 million DH and a net result of 23 million DH, i.e. 8% and 6% of the respective consolidated indicators of the SBM group.
The arrival of Ain Ifrane within the Mutandis Group would make it possible to constitute a drinks division of more than 350 million DH in turnover, and to benefit from strong operational synergies between the different ranges, particularly in terms of distribution, underlines , for his part, Mutandis.
