Dubai: Sri Lankan spinner Vanindu Hazaranga and Australia’s all-rounder Ashley Gardner have been awarded the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player of the Year award for June.
In the men’s category, Hazaranga was awarded with 26 wickets in the World Cup qualifying round. Ashley’s performance in the Women’s Ashes earned her the award. This is the third time Ashley has won this award.
