Vienna – Austrians are more inclined towards controlled distribution of cannabis (to adults and through licensed outlets). In a recent survey conducted by the opinion research institute Unique Research for the news magazine “Profil”, exactly half of those questioned were in favor of such a controlled legalization, while 42 percent were skeptical or clearly opposed. The remaining 8 percent did not want to give any information. A total of 500 people were interviewed online for the survey.
