In times of high inflation, two percent isn’t really a figure that would require anyone to take to the streets or stop working. However, in the current strike called by the American Actors’ Association (SAG-AFTRA) last Thursday, two percent is one of the crucial points. Two percent of all income from a television show should in future be distributed to the actors. That sounds plausible at first, but is complicated in detail.
