RIYADH: The Saudi General Directorate of Traffic (Muroor) has reiterated the importance of passengers sitting in designated areas in the vehicle to ensure their safety. Murur said that passengers who sit in seats other than their own in the vehicle will be in danger and will be considered a violation of the law.
According to Saudi Arabia’s traffic laws, those who carry passengers while sitting in areas not designated for passengers will be fined at least 500 riyals to 900 riyals.
