This Sunday morning, a Stib line 52 bus reversed into street furniture at the intersection of rue de Loxum and boulevard de l’Impératrice. “For an unknown reason, the bus backed up in several infrastructures”, explained STIB spokesperson Cindy Arents to our colleagues from Bruzz who added that no injuries were to be deplored. Only the driver was present in the vehicle and he was able to resume work during the day.
The first testimonies that come back to us describe the bus as having descended the rue de Loxum (terminus of bus 52) backwards before ending up in the posts. A journey that might have turned out to be much more serious. The vehicle was taken to a depot for analysis.
