Brussels Police Seeks Information on Abandoned Infant, Help Find Answers

2023-08-04 06:00:00

The Brussels public prosecutor’s office issues a wanted notice.

On Saturday July 29, 2023 around 4:50 p.m., a woman abandoned an infant in a gray stroller inside the laundry room located rue de la Clinique in Anderlecht.

The woman entered the laundromat with a stroller and following a few moments she ran towards rue Brogniez. The dark-haired woman was dressed in a white sweatshirt and black shorts.

Police say the infant, who is currently “in hospital and in good health”, is an approximately 3-month-old girl. She has a dark complexion, large dark eyes and curly hair. She was wearing a white sweater.

The little girl will soon be able to leave the hospital, probably to a foster family. Unless someone from his family shows up.
