The Bargkilwa will make its big comeback on the last Sunday of August. It might, as in the past, be the goal of a superb walk on the Vosges peaks, since the refuge is located a few steps from the Route des Crêtes, at a place called Hundskopf (Col du Chien), halfway between Mordfeld and Markstein.
