Recent Murders in Thrissur During Festival Celebrations: All Accused Arrested and Latest Updates

Thrissur: City Police Commissioner Ankit Asokan announced that all the accused in Murkanikara murder have been arrested. The reason for the murder was a dispute during dancing during the Thrissur Moorkanikara Kummatti festival. Akhil (28), a native of Mulayam, was stabbed to death in the incident. Vishwajit, Brahmajit, Ananthakrishnan, Akshay, Sriraj and Jishnu were arrested. The incident happened only yesterday. The accused have a criminal background.

Clashes broke out at three places in Thrissur yesterday during the Onam celebrations. Two of them were killed. Akhil from Mannuthi Mulayam and Karunamayi from Nedupuzha were killed. Three people took Karunamayi to a private hospital in Thrissur at around 4 pm and returned. It was confirmed that Karunamayi was killed during the examination at the hospital. 24-year-old Karunamayi is accused in many criminal cases.

The third incident took place in Anthikkad. Nimesh was seriously injured in the incident. Nimesh and Shihab attacked a young man named Hirat in his house. It is reported that Hirat took a knife from the house and stabbed Nimesh.
