Adam does meal delivery in California.

While visiting Minneapolis, Minnesota, Adam opened the DoorDash app out of curiosity, as an employee, which the company didn’t like.

“I wanted to see the areas [de livraison]see what it was like to ‘dash’ in another city,” he said in a TikTok video, adding that he did not accept any races.

“DoorDash fired me on vacation,” laments the American.

The worker confirms that he received an email from DoorDash, informing him that his account has been deactivated.

“Hi Adam, we regret to inform you that your Dasher account has been temporarily suspended.”

The latter tried to contest the decision, in vain, before receiving a second email confirming the deactivation of the account.

Until the next developments, the self-employed worker is on a waiting list for the creation of a new account.

Contacted by the Daily Dot, the publicly traded company did not offer a reaction to Adam’s case.

In its terms and conditions of use, DoorDash does not have a defined policy regarding the use of the application by employees outside their home region.
