One euro per square meter to become the owner of land to be built on, that’s enough to leave you skeptical or dreaming… The initiative of the town of Fursac, in Creuse, whose objective was to attract new inhabitants (less than 1,500 currently), has yet seduced. “We had a subdivision on which there were eight plots available, the goal was also to ensure that these plots did not remain unoccupied. This is part of a municipal desire to revitalize the town,” says Anna Désenfant, director of town hall services.
