A 70-year-old woman found a backpack with 4,000 euros in cash in Mistelbach on Friday evening and took it to the police. Shortly followingwards, the 44-year-old owner, who had previously lost the bag, also contacted us. She picked up the backpack – including money – from the Mistelbach police station. The honest finder, who was present at the handover, waived a finder’s fee and was happy with the 44-year-old and her two small children, the police reported on Saturday.
