Kothamangalam: International Syriac Symposium Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary Resident Metropolitan Dr. Inaugurated by Kuriakos Mor Theophilos. Mar Thoma Small Church Vicar Fr. Jose presided over Parathuwayal.
The symposium was held on the occasion of the commemoration of His Holiness Yaldo Mar Basilios Bava. 30 delegates from France, America, Switzerland, Britain, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden, China and Lebanon participated in the symposium. It was decided to organize the symposium in Kerala once in three years. Fr.Jos Thachetkudi, Fr.Elias Poomatham, Fr. Bijo Kawat, Fr. Basil Ittyanikal, church trustees C.I. Baby Chundhat and Benoy Thomas Mannancheri spoke.
