A man died during the night from Wednesday to Thursday in Anderlecht, following a shooting, we learned The evening. The events took place on rue Wayez. Four men in a vehicle fired Kalashnikovs at a person in another vehicle around 1:10 a.m. Nineteen shell casings were found on site and the victim was hit seventeen times. The man died on the spot.
The perpetrators fled. Their vehicle, a VW Golf GTI, was found later that night by the police in Molenbeek, rue de la Semence.
The case is believed to be linked to the drug scene. This is the eighth drug-related death this year.
