A vaccination campaign in colleges this fall to protect students against the papillomavirus which can cause cancer. Odile Calvet, co-secretary of the school nurses union SNICS-FSU in Limousin answers questions from Alain Ginestet.
Supporting, explaining and reassuring parents and students about the papillomavirus is one of the missions of school nurses. This virus can cause cancer in both women and men, hence the importance of being vaccinated from an early age. The campaign will concern all 5th grade students in Limousin colleges.
