According to RTLinfo, a major fire broke out last night around 4:30 a.m. in a house on rue du Foyer, in Marcinelle. Still according to information from our colleagues, the emergency number 112 received several calls reporting the fire, specifying that several people were trapped inside the home.
The fire was finally brought under control overnight. Unfortunately, two people died. “One person born in 1942 and one born in 1947,” declares the RTlinfo correspondent in the region.
