Granada – The focus of the informal EU summit on Friday in Granada, Spain, is the question of how the EU can become fit for the geopolitical challenges of the future and its own institutional future with possibly 30 or more members. In the Granada Declaration, EU leaders will, according to the draft, reaffirm that “the future of our candidate countries and their citizens lies in the EU”.
