After several vehicles reported on Thursday night that they had become stranded following refueling at a station in Envigado, Terpel, the company in charge of the gas station where the situation arose, spoke out on the matter.

Let us remember that the complaint that escalated online had to do with a type of traffic jam that occurred around the gas station near the Otra Parte headquarters, in Envigado. What the users alleged was that instead of fuel they had been supplied with water and that this had affected the tank of the cars.
What Terpel came out to specify this Friday was that once customers reported the situation due to possible fuel contamination, “yesterday, in the followingnoon, the station staff immediately proceeded to carry out the verifications of the case to guarantee the affected.”
Since then, according to Terpel, the affected drivers and vehicles have been monitored, while public service at the Terpel Otra Parte service station was suspended in order to determine the causes of the incident.
“The company works to carry out the necessary repairs and cleaning work that guarantee the provision of the service with the quality and reliability that has always characterized Terpel,” the firm expressed.
And, next step, they added: “It should be noted that an incident like this is exceptional. The company continues to strengthen its processes to guarantee fuel quality.”
