A new local service point opened its doors Tuesday morning on rue Jacques-Cartier, in the district of Chicoutimi, in Saguenay.
It will now be possible to have access to different services from the integrated health and social services center (CIUSSS) in the same place.
This service point is one of seven facilities that will be accessible to the population. The one in Chicoutimi is the first in Quebec.
The installations are arriving at the right time. With the vaccination campaign underway, citizens were there on Tuesday.
As for vaccination in pharmacies, pharmacists hoped to receive more doses. Some 100,000 doses have been received, which means that time slots are limited.
The Quebec Association of Pharmacists said that other deliveries of doses will be received in the coming days.
